Cefaclor - Ceclor ® - Renal dosing

Usual Dosing (Adults)

250 to 500 mg po q8h or if the extended release form is used: 375–500 mg q12h.

Renal Dosing

PO:
[CRCL >50 ]: no change.
[10 - 50]: Administer 50% to 100% of dose at same interval.
[<10 ]: Give 50% of usual dose at same interval.

Hemodialysis

250mg 12 hours. Make sure dose is given after dialysis.
Moderately dialyzable (20% to 50%)
