Corrected Calcium Calculator

Corrected Calcium Determination

Based on the following inputs:
Current calcium level  (mg/dL)
Current albumin level  (g/dL)
The patient's corrected calcium level is:
3.20 mg/dL
Normal calcium levels (range): 8.8 - 10.5 mg/dl (2.2-2.6 mmol/L)

Equation used:

 Corrected calcium = serum calcium + 0.8 (4 - serum albumin)

Conversions used by program:

Calcium (mg/dL)  x 0.25 = calcium (mmol/L)
Albumin (g/dL) x 10 = albumin (g/L)
