Epididymitis-orchitis Possible therapeutic alternatives
Epididymitis-orchitis (Men < 35 yrs). Common pathogens
Ceftriaxone 250mg IM as a single dose plus Doxycycline 100mg orally twice daily for 10 days.   
Alternatively:
  Ofloxacin 300mg orally twice daily for 10 days.
Epididymitis-orchitis (Men > 35 years old). Common pathogens
Ofloxacin 300mg orally twice daily for 10-14 days or Levofloxacin  500mg orally once daily for 10-14 days.  
Alternatively:
Ampicillin-sulbactam 1.5 to 3 grams IV q6h  or  Ceftriaxone 1 gram IV q12h or  Piperacillin-tazobactam 3.375 grams IV q6h.
